Rehab Walk's Clinical Director has been out to St Louis Children's Hospital to work with Dr TS Park's SDR rehabilitation and Physiotherapist team, carrying out both Pre, 4, 6 and 12 months post operation assessments and physiotherapy sessions. Chris will be returning in July/October 2015 and would love to hear from any parents that are planning to travel out to St Louis Children Hospital. Chris Barton will bring the same ethos and approach to Rehab Walk, where they will treat each children as a individual with their own aims, objectives and goals to which they would like to achieve.

Rehab Walk's physiotherapists are specialists in treating children, teenagers and adults with neurological conditions, Pre and Post Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy (SDR), Cerebral Palsy, Acquired Brain Injury, Stroke, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson's Diseases, Spinal Cord Injury and Other Neurological Conditions.

We work very differently from other physiotherapists you have met. We will give you regular hands on physiotherapy which is the best way you can reach your physical and mental goals.

At Rehabwalk we work by preparing the optimal muscle tone, isometric muscle strengthening before building this into functional skills like walking. Our aim is to achieve the highest possible physical and functional outcome for our clients.

We have been working with clients affected by neurological conditions since 2000. Our background is based in sports and exercise science.

Chris Barton BSc is a member of The Chartered Society of Physiotherapists (CSP), The Health Care Professions Council (HCPC), Association of Paediatric Chartered Physiotherapists (APCP), and Association of Physiotherapists with a special Interest in Neurology (ACPIN) and is CRB checked.
